Selective hearing is great. Especially when you wanna hear F1 cars rev instead of your roommate’s smoothie mixer.

For real F1 fans Sundays are holy. And the only sound they want to hear is the sound of the roaring F1 engines. Nothing else. So, in a series of idents during the Formula 1 coverage on Channel 4, we showed that the BOSE 700 headphones cancel out all the unnecessary noise, so you can hear what you want.

Even the sound of smoothie blenders, 120db hairdryers and heavy sucking vacuums.

All of the idents are voiced by the legendary Formula 1 sports commentators David Coulthard and Ben Edwards.

And some of them were even tailored to specific races, like this one for the British Grand Prix showing off the built-in Google Assistant feature.

Meaning all of the idents felt super-integrated into the live Formula 1 coverage.
